Straight from the box, it's actually possible to whiff it, as the decals are for the -1 while the kit is -2.

Are you sure?

When I built one into a pylon racer many years ago I had to lengthen the fin to make it into a -2.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit

Did you know that the Dominican government tried to buy Spitfire 22s?
We offered Seafire XVs....they said get lost......

By the time the UK Gov't had got their act together to offer Spitfire 22s, the Dominicans had bought F-51Ds from Sweden.
The new Airfix F-51D has Dominican markings....a nice camo Spitfire 22 looks on the cards.

Looking forward to having a go at the Airfix Spitfire 22s and F-51Ds.......

Just got some books too....Malta Spitfire Vs in 1942 and  Polish Wings 16: Spitfire XVI.....great stuff!!

Expecting an amazing night on Saturday...THE Party of the year? decade? Century? Millenium?.....yes, looking forward to seeing Aircav and Narses at t'pub.
It's closed to t'public.....probably because they don't want me to be seen in public. It's fancy dress, you see....I shall look marvellous in full make up, but Goth like. Expecting friend Norman to wear his customary dress (or one of them) and lots of bonzer ladies.
The music is "good" to "awesome".....

I find the best solution to any marital discord is to withdraw into a dreamland of colour schemes, steampunk, spaceships, meerkats and vast quantities of aircraft possibilities.
