Just cleaned out the "study" also known as "The Radish Shed".

Tony Robinson obviously had the week off from Time Team then ?

He wasn't with Rad, he was helping me get to the bottom of the big chest freezer (350 litre)  in our kitchen, prior to our move on Wednesday .  This moving business will be  , I think, better viewed in hindsight.

Yup a very stressing time, best of luck

We are NEVER EVER MOVING again.

Meanwhile spent a pleasant 20 mins talking to a chap on the phone about my OA pension, as I'd heard nowt, but more importantly, received nowt.
If he's as efficient as he sounded, all will be fine.
If not......   :-X :-X :-X

I should have received a letter in January. Sent but never arrived.
All to be backdated to start on my birthday so hopefully OK.

They paid me my BR pension for five years before they deigned to tell me about it.

They'd got the wrong address on file for me, and so paid it into a trust find till I contacted them when I was 65. The accumulated back pay bought my car and a lot more besides.

Finished glueing bits on the C-47. Primed now in grey.
It'll be a "slightly steampunked" C-47 in RAF-ish Desert scheme, with either RAF decals, or if I can search my decals, British civil from wartime use.

Next on the construction pile is the de Havilland Dragon Rapide for the BIGGLES SIG once more.

Enough!!

Enough of thinking up ideas....going to try to turn my brain off for a while and actually concentrate on production and completion.

STILL moving books from upstairs to downstairs. STILL emptying the front modelling room.....to create space to model effectively (I look awesome draped on a fur blanket).... :o :o :o :o

And the rock and roll lifestyle maintains its presence.....out Friday in Tamworth, out yesterday (Saturday) in Ashby and today, Sunday, in Stafford. Great groups all, but different.....all have female lead singers though. ;)

LIGHT at the end of the tunnel....as in I can see the floor/carpet in my den/shed....Aircav and Narses will understand.
Just another 3 or 4 hours sorting a corner and throwing stuff/stashing stuff.
Move another 50 or so books down...or nearer 75 I think (some very large ones too) and then I shall retire there and bash plastic while I can.
Daughter could move in the next 6 weeks or so as she's buying a house.
Fingers crossed
