The 1/48th Steam-powered Victorian era Gloster Gertrude St.I is primed and ready for painting.
It was developed to assist in the protection of the Imperial Airship routes.

Do you have a Photo Bucket account or something where we can see these wondrous works Radish?
"Just which planet are you from again"?

Nah, but I must get one sorted.

I have at last cleared enough space at my modelling desk, as well as a path to get to it.

The creativity, music and juices will flow........I may be some time

Well, the poorly frozen shoulder has thrown a spanner in the works...bloody painfull to begin with. I now have less discomfort but still only 30-40% usage.
But, I can model, so that's OK.
Buggered if I want to do the Timewarp though....ouch!!

Meanwhile just realised that I'm 63 which is 17 Celcius :banghead:

Lots of interuptions due to my mother's failing health.
But I was able to assemble an Airfix Boston III yesterday, which with a few mods, will appear on the Biggles SIG display as an aircraft flown by the bad-guys in "Biggles In The Terai", and India-based story. Biggles shoots it down flying an Indian Air Force Hunter that he's borrowed. I'll be modelling that too.
Apart from the continuing steampunk fetish, the Gnat builds, the Arado Ar196 builds, an occasional "real" build, space builds, etc.., there's also the Biggles builds:

Civil Short Sunderland
Hunter(s)
Javelin
Vampire
C-47(s)
C-45.......etc. etc..... :banghead:

Terry, I'm sorry to hear about your Mum. Mine will be 82 next month and in the past year, I've really had to start helping her get around a lot more.

On the subject at hand, I'll put in a recommendation for Picasa as a photo host. I find it's much more user friendly and secure than Photobucket with plenty of data storage. I've never had a photo removed or "lost" or had them disappear from postings due to exceeding bandwidth limits, all of which happen with Photobucket. If you already have a Google account (GMail, Blogger, YouTube, etc.), you have access to Picasa. Otherwise, it's fairly easy to create one.

Some clever and amusing quote goes here.

Thanks for that, Jacques, I'll investigate.
Very busy at the moment with an ailing parent, but managed to put together 3 Hobbyboss A-10s and a Hurricane.  But now they need painting!!

It's all about priorities isn't it.  Hope all are coping as well as possible under the circumstances.

The good news is that today I've finished glueing the three 1/48th Sea Furies together....one needs some canvas/tarpaulin covering, before priming with Halfords Grey (1) and Black(2) tomorrow

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Always ready too swi.....oh, sorry :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Decided I'm never going to make the 1/72nd B-29, C-97 and 3 x B-50Ds, not to mention the Super Connie and XB-35. So they're "gone".

Really enjoying making the Airfix Lanc. It's fromthe "Special" kit with the Grand Slam.
Mine is a post-war PR3 for Biggles....

I quite fancy making some more rather spurious postwar Lancs.....I have one kit in the stash as yet unbuilt, but I'll be on the lookout for bargains ;D
