Had a super time playing at steampunk, and brought home some great looking cogs.
Built 1:1 steampunk goggles that need some paint now. They'll be ready for Sunday's "Vampire Rocks", along with the other stuff....1:1 "Vampire pistol and Blaster".

In "Biggles and the Chinese Puzzle", Marcel his French counterpart disappears in Saigon....this is the period when the French are fighting the Viet Nimh in Indo-China.....and Biggles, Algy, Ginger and Bertie investigate. Lots of possibilities, butr "stretching" slightly....I'm incorporating a French Navy Connie....

I know this is a silly question but I take it you will be wearing these at Telford ?

Is the duck coming by the way ?

"Yes" to the duck....might bring the steampunked hat, although it could well be relaced by a steampunked flying helmet.
;D

Goggles for the steampunked Flying hat are "in progress"...hope they'll be done.
Then it's "on" with the steampunked other stuff after Telford.

Got a few kits to build and finished.
The late, great Jim Wood (previous editor of a revised Airfix Mag in the '80s, '90s) who was apart from a modeller an RF-101C pilot in the USAF, serving in Vietnam, said that ANY model could be built in 4 hours maximum.
I shall be putting his ideas to the test with a Hasegawa 1/72nd B-17G (to become a USN PB-1W-ish), a Wellington (Revell/Matchbox) for Biggles (as is the PB-1W-ish) and a Revell dh Vampire 5.
