All jolly good stuff.
In the Speciall Squadron, Biggles has various "misfits" including Tex from the USA.

Staring at an Italeri OA-4M.
It's been converted to a single-seater, with "stuff" in the rear seat space. It's in flying mode, just needs afew bits added, underwing tanks and pylons, before priming in a sandy brown....
It's for the Afrika Reich collection.

A great band last night, lovely voice on the lady singer (looks good too), and great music. Thanked them for an entertaining evening, and the singer remembers me.....couldn't remember them, though.
Off to see "The Liquor and Poker Band" in a while at t'pub....think they do Southern States rock. Should be good.
Tomorrow it's off the Brum for another great evening with Partners in Crime. Two fabulous singers, Anya and Kat to chose from....Anya's turn tomorrow I think. Then afterwards nip to Stafford for the end of Jam Night at The Grapes.....possibly.
Rock and Roll, eh??

Meanwhile in Burton this afternoon, I'm approached by a young lady who asks, "Excuse me. Could I take your picture?"
It was because I was wearing my "every day hat", a checked grey trilby with goggles

Yes, new Biggles "picture books"....or "graphic novels" appear from time to time. I have one or two....often they're based on original stories, but not always.

Got rid of the wife for the afternoon (secured her in her crypt where she'll be drinking the blood of virgins and eating zombie flesh) and I'll be off gigging before the time-release on the crypt door creaks open.

Amazing what is found while attempting to tidy "the modelling room"....I have a set of props from an "ex-Me410" in 1/48th. Perfect for a contra-rotating prop for my diesel-punked Fw 190.

Looking forward to this evening.....might even wear a shirt :o :o :o :o :o

Honoured sir, two questions......

A) Where do you get fresh zombie on a Sunday?

B)  What, if anything will be worn with the shirt?

I'm more concerned about where they got the virgins from ??? I thought the local lord of the manor still had his way with young girls as of right in this part of rural England ?

Narses,  i really   really  hate to point this out, but Rad didnt mention the gender of said blood donators, did he...  :banghead:

Meanwhile, awesome night at t'Grapes.
Friends Derek Holt (ex Climax Blues), John Campbell (Are You Experienced, Hendrix tribute) and Joe Blank a stunning drummer) served up a musical feast. Even better, Jordan Bracewell (ex-Vampires Rock) joined them briefly....had a good chat when the sound permitted. 2 hours 30 minutes of fantastic rock, Hendrix and Thin Lizzy and I was leaning against the bar or boogying in front....only 6 ft from the stage so I'm a trifle deaf.

Mid's restored after eating her zombies and drinking virgin blood (sources are secret  :drink: :drink: ) .

Despite crawling in sated at 2am, up early and out with the grandchild dwarf, so fell asleep this afternoon. Weather glorious and hearing should be returned to normal tinitus level by Wednesday?
Mid's becoming rather fed up with me saying "What? Eh?" after everything she says....bonus ;D ;D ;D

As well as the shirt, the usual......black jeans, chains, dangly things...steampunked-goggled trilby

Hearing now much better but it irritates Mid that she has to speak up or repeat things, so I'm acting deaf. ;D

"That can be a dangerous game "

Time will tell.......acting "normal" now......

Boon sorting artwork inspiration for various stuff, and I have a wicked idea for a 1/48th F-104G, of which I have "a few".

Resurrected the VTOL triangular wing F-104 (1/48th.....done one in 1/72nd). My 1/48th has the fuselage cut and filled, and the wing is built. Needs some sanding and filler. The tips are already seperated. "Afrika Reich" seems an attractive idea, for a high speed interceptor operating on the borders.
I've an idea for a flying, wheels-up version too, with the wing in high speed mode.

Hopefully, daughter Ria will get my laptop up and running. :o

What's "normal"?  I never could quite  manage to achieve that state.

Children  are very useful when confronted by technology...I'm currently using my younger son's old lap top, which he has set up for me.
