I'm back.

De-cluttering by disposing by fair means or foul of a host of kits, limiting myself to what I aim to be able to build, plus a few extras that'll give me choice. Other choices are available, of course, by buying new ones.
This, I can see, will be a continuous process,  beginning initially with a huge disposal.

I'm concentrating on things that interest me:

Biggles,  then mostly P-40s, P-47s, P-51s, Spitfires, Bf 109s, Fw 190s, Sabres, a few tanks, a few cars, a few figures. Very few boats. Oh, and an occasional science fiction subject.
In my "heyday????" of 20-30 years ago I produced a model a week. My target is on a month, and I'm keeping stuff simple. Hence essentially mostly single-engine types......I've still not built and finished a Lancaster.

Currently, my prime subject is a 1/48th Mustang III in PINK....decals are on. It just needs the transparency and a little bit of paintwork.

My lifestyle now doesn't support a massive input into the hobby..... I go out too much for that. ;D

as long as its fun, that's all that matters, isn't it?
the things you learn, give your mind the wings to fly, and the chains to hold yourself steady
take off and nuke the site form orbit, nope, time for the real thing, CAM and gridfire, call special circumstances.

Absolutely, but we have a young dwarf of 3 living with us that often occupies my time, and I'm usually out 3 times a week or more having fun.
Time is becoming precious.
Out last night...rock and roll, friends on and off stage....epic.

My message for 2014 is "PARTY ON, DUDES!!"

Meanwhile.....

I've been given the idea of a Star Wars Storm Trooper riding a fluffy cat!!

I already have THREE model figures of Medieval Batmen line up.
Is a trio of Batman called Batmen?

Tonight the u/c is drying out, so I can finish adding bits to the 2-seat A-10. Hopefully spraying late afternoon tomorrow.
It'll be USAF, but not as we know it....

I'm attempting to finish some long-started projects.

I've got a 1/72nd Connie primed in black....in flying mode, and it's been around for 2 years in a large box.

Do I go with the original plan and use WW2 Halifax camo and decals?

Do I go with Plan B and keep it overall black with French Navy decals? Circa 1950 over Indo China?

Plan C.....RAF Desert??

Think I'm going with Plan B but with some "interesting" painting over the black.....just to liven it up a bit.
