Meanwhile, I seem to have regained my modelling mojo.

Completed glueing together a couple of 1/72nd Wildcats (HobbyBoss)....need a touch of filler before priming. Both will be RN/RAF in the North African Desert for the BIGGLES display.
Might do a USAAF F4F-4 too...similar scheme.

The 1/35th "creation" might have Vampires flying it rather than Zombies, as I've got some Rumanian decals sorted. :tank:

Been doing bits and pieces....a Pegasus Flying Horse, a Unicorn and this morning, started a 1/72nd C-47-ish for Biggles, a Desert scheme.

Yesterday finally finished my mobile air defence system in 1/35th. A Panther hull modified with a launch ramp and a Star Wars Starfighter. Crewed by 3 figures.
Operated in the late '40s on the Eastern Front by SS "Vampyr".

Well all I can say is that I must have missed one  Quite an effective way to keep them warm I thought  ;D

Great party mate - thanks
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

My pleasure....
a quick head count revealed 60+ adults and a number of kids....the next one will have fewer invites. Unless it's at the pub!!

Depends on your definition of the word "adult"

True.

Managed to sort out some modelling yesterday.
Got the wings on my B-29.....thinking Washington MR.6 possibly? Or could just do it RAF Bomber Command?? But saw a nice 3-colour Czech one once that was a possibility?
I wonder if the Latvians had any?
Or Israel??

Also got the u/c on the Biggles C-47, and started to steampunk it. There'll be slightly "different" engines, perhaps with chimneys. Or I might leave the chimney concept to the "open-topped" C-47 for sight-seeing.....in preparation.

Just cleaned out the "study" also known as "The Radish Shed".

Found numerous part-built and primed items.....all suitable for Biggles too.

I also discovered an unbuilt 1/48th P-61 Black Widow. A few bits are missing, but I might know where I put them. If I can't find these (internals) it'll almost certainly become an entry on the SIG of GOTH table, full of Zombies and Demons.

Now, I'm off for a shower before going to the pub for a beer and some music.   :drink:
