Steady, steady.....

Sorting zillions of kits. How did I get so many?? And most are simply gorgeous.... :banghead: :banghead:

Hey ho.

Looking to getting back to actually finishing a bundle of stuff for SMW14 soon....not long now. Hoping for "completion" by October 29th....I'm "out" socialising after that at various events that include wildness and dressing up.

The Nerf Gun needs a bit more, and I've more of them too.
Meanwhile, I found another bag of skulls up in the loft. Jolly good  ;D ;D

Whose skulls, we ask with a degree of trepidation?

Former pupils of reprehensible habits......

Particularly  obnoxious JMNs......

Persons of no account who criticised your sartorial arrangements.....

Is the world ready to have this data made public?
"If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you....."
It  means that you read  the instruction sheet

Some skulls still have rotting flesh on them....... :o :o

You were watching CSI last night, weren't you ? If not catch up on it, right up your street

Nah...the only American thing I'm watching is "The Strain" and that's got key characters played by Brits, like David Bradley.

I find American stuff just too shallow. Give me "Peaky Blinders" any day.

Sorting stuff. Need more boxes. Will get what's left from the loft tonight and sort stuff in bags (big linen bags) tomorrow.
Target is 750 kits....could well achieve that easily.

And I'll STILL never need to buy another kit.
My production has decreased dramatically over the past few years, partly through other interests.
Might be down to finishing 15-20 kits a year now....often silly stuff.....and the word "kit" is wrong really, as some are stuff that's just tweaked a bit before repainting. Like my two Medieval Batmen.

Agreed   However I must admit I tend to record it as then I can replay some of the dialogue I don't quite catch because of the Brum accents

I'd love to know where abouts in the West Midlands they had foundries with their furnaces on the high street next to the pub though ?  Even in the 1920's

Captain Canada

I hate the thought of thinning out the stash. Just a pain in the arse I all. I also don't like he thought o having too many kits for the time slotted on tho earth. Probably there already....but it's awfully hat to stop buying the darn things !
CANADA KICKS arse !!!!

Long Live the Commonwealth !!!
Vive les Canadiens !
Where's my beer ?

Radish

Problems with the Brummy accent? You should talk to some broad speakers from The Black Country.
Mid comes from Lower Gornal; her parents from Tipton and trying to understand her dad when he spoke without moving his lips as there was always a fag in there was a trifle difficult!! Her brother's much better as is her sister.

The stash as to be reduced....so much will never be made by me anyway.

But I've lots left to build:

Spitfires galore in 1/48th and 1/72nd
F4U Corsairs in the same scales plus a 1/32nd one for Biggles next year.
P-40s, MiGs of virtually every sort in scales galore, cars, tanks, P-51s, Bf-109s, Fw190s....and more F-104s than Lockheed built (I think!!)
So no worries....enough to keep me going until I'm 90+.....

Jeepers, that's a BIG haul for someone!  :o
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Couldn't all get in the van, so a return visit for the rest later!!

Got enough left to keep me insane until I'm 95.

Who did you give or sell all those kits to? They must be loaded!

By now I hope it's Radish who's loaded.  ;D

I am more loaded than before.  :tank:
And apart from a reasonably priced Airfix VC-10 (or the promise of a release) or 1/144th Il-62 no purchases at all are envisaged.
