Building a 1/72nd Tornado ADV F.7 in SEAC colours.
It's almost light relief from the other stuff.
Been busy with dwarves, having fun, another party this weekend....such is life

Next up to paint will be a large figure of a naked Medusa, for which I've been doing a LOT of research  ;)

OK so flesh tones for the body but what type of snakes ?

I have finished, completed, displayed a model.
Not just a repaint of a sculpture or a snap-together kit.....this is a real model, modified, of course.
I have built the Airfix 1/72nd Tucano T.1 as a .....

Tucano F.7....the one with the single seat, Robinson aether screw attached to an Atkinson 1,750hp engine.
Armed with a De Lusional Lazer gun fitted beneath the fuselage.

Only another 6 Tucanos to build.
Is the Tucano in the current Airfix catalogue? :drink:

Started another Tucano.
An F.6, and tail dragger.
Been thinking of the helicopter version too, which was discussed last Thursday.
Lazer cannon are essential. :banghead:

Undercarriage fixed.
Thinking of various schemes.....this'll be RAF Brown/Green over Medium Sea Grey.

Others might be....SEAC, Lithuanian, Portuguese, South Vietnamese....Red Arrows?

The Tucano is supposed to be withdrawn this year as a private company takes over RAF training.

As an off the wall suggestion, how about painted up like a toucan?....as  Guinness used as their advertising in the 1930's.

Make an interesting Irish aerobatic team............

Indeed right through the 60's. I can well remember the Guinness Clock and tree walk in Battersea Pleasure Gardens

Just proves how young I was, any older and I wouldn't have been able to remember them  :drink:

7 at the start of 1960 and therefore, hang on, I'll get there.......... 17 at the end of 69. Must admit I'd started "clubbing", it was know as "going down the Pally" then in 68 when I left school
