..... and I bet I'm older than either of you.  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

We could aggregate our ages and you'd still be older Kit

I think I'm about Chris' age, but as I've said several times before; age is irrelevant unless you are a cheese, a single malt or (according to my solicitor) a vintage port.

Meanwhile, one of the two 1/72nd Airfix Spitfire 22s I've started this morning already has it's undercarriage fixed, and the cockpit includes an ejection seat and appropriate pilot. Sidewinder pylons, launch rails and Sidewinders tomorrow.

Quite possible, yes.  ;D

The only other candidate for such an age would the equally Venerable Mike McEvoy.  ;D

So total the ages of all 4 of us and we're approaching 500 years at least.

Meanwhile, priming the "new" Spitfire 2000 tomorrow,...should be finished in time for the Birmingham Show on Sunday.

With my wife being in foreign climes, currently Switzerland, but having been to Northern Italy, apparently she's discovered from an impeccable source, the coach driver, that CAMPION is a common (I prefer "exclusively frequent") name in Northern Italy. Perhaps it appears as CAMPION, CAMPIONE or other derivations.
This only confirms what I already know.....I am of Imperial Roman origins.

Imperator Terrencius Radiscius Magnus will reign.

Should I start an Imperial roman forces SIG?? ;D ;D ;D ;D

I wouldn't get your hopes up Tel, after all Campion is probably derived from the Latin/French for a Bell Tower which doesn't sound to Imperial to me. Still there were a couple of Emperor's risen from the ranks in latter years  ;D

Why don't you sit behind the SIG of Goth stand at Telford in Imperial Purple ? Look quite fetching with a laurel wreath I would have thought
