Forgot to mention the 2 1/72nd Canberra PR.9s I've done....one a USAF RB-57X, the other a Hippie one....

Then, as for the X-3, I'm thinking "Stiletto" so needs to be Italian Air Force, probably low-viz grey, dirty, etc., with stores additions from an F-4 Phantom.

Oh, and as I've ordered 2 x 1/32nd Sopwith Camels, I'll be looking for a couple of appropriate (or inappropriate) missiles for the RAF-scenario in 2025. One will belong to this "Future English Armed Forces".....the other a more sensible WWI option....except it'll be a sesqueplane.

Considered starting painting another hat just, a trilby, but it'll wait...I'm wearing it tonight after all.

And when a number of women asked at Hudders why there was a flower-clutching, butterfly-strewn rabbit on the display, I answered, "Why not? Peace and Love."

Busy times....decluttering, music, fun, painting, glueing and sticking.

Making a new Wolf Hat tomorrow for the WGW, and I have ideas for another....a Hippie Hat.
Done/repainted/recycled the Black Goth Pith Helmet....

Painted a Hippie Elephant.

Got a couple of 1/24th Chevrolet Deluxe Coupe 1941 diecasts....one ready for re-spraying when the weather improves. Both will be US Armed Forces.
Also acquired a couple of 1/25th "Fairy Figures", 3 to a set. They even have wings...rather nice, and perhaps one could be operating a Fairey Swordfish Drone? Or is that just silly, even if flown by a squirrel??

Sounds good to me! All kinds of stuff going on. Does the pot smoking pachyderm have rotary wings?  :D

Also, anything operated by a squirrel is good to go.  ;D ;D ;D

Added some RN SEAC theatre markings to a 1/72nd USMC FG-1D....looks nice.

Also disillusioned by the "Risk Assessment" now required for each display at SMW at Telford. More guff....looked a a 4 page "assessment" that to me at least looks inadequate. So where to from here? :o

Ran into this same issue at the Leamington Model Railway Show on Saturday.

Surely the organisers are only too aware of the 'Risks' and one RA would do for ALL of the stands? Maybe different for some of the traders but all the Branch and SIG stands would be the same. Why generate un-needed work?  :banghead:
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Had loads of stuff sent me re the "Risk Assessment" re. everything from vehicles in the hall when loading/unloading, etc.. Plus everyone wearing sensible flat shoes!! What about my high heels?? Nothing about feather boas either....
Much of it is common sense, but some is just picky.
I shall soothe myself with attaching a Desert-finished Snowspeeder to a mobile launch platform...... :-\

Read about that in the latest IPMS magazine. Without going into the why's and wherefores of it all at least once completed for the National's that should be enough to cover all other shows *. At least that's what the editorial appears to say, although if I'm honest that isn't how bureaucracy tends to work in my experience  :banghead:

* The piece says' "it should be good for most other shows if you have a similar stand"
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Majority of H&S material is an organiser covering his own posterior in case the is an incident and someone's backside needs a kick. I'd not have thought your feather boa  (or any other item of your appearance) inappropriate.......risqué   perhaps, but not risky.

The Wooksta!

I really want to send a "risk assessment" back - comprising 128 ring bound BLANK A4 pages and then in 6 point text at the bottom of the last page "There is no risk at all from our stand"

Except I think that no one would get the joke.

I don't know. Said boa is long enough that it could get caught in a revolving door and even get caught in the heel of some of those shoes, thus leading to choking or tripping. Plus think of the effect it has on those who've not seen our Rad in full regalia before  ;D

Choking or tripping?......enter the Radish Couture  Productions Quick Release Safety Boa!

As for the  full regalia, one sees similar out on the streets on a Saturday night...........but without our colleague's unsurpassed sartorial flair.
