Not done much recently, but actually got back to finishing sticking bits on the Lindberg 1/48th X-3 Stiletto.
At first I thought I'd do it as an Italian Air Force "Stiletto" in 1/72nd.
Now it's likely to be Luftwaffe, but still in 1/72nd. Hoping to have it at Cosford.

In other things, I'm planning VW Beetle Robot Walkers.....

Strangely that seems quite a sensible idea....you feeling o.k. ?  ;D

Just sprayed one Dalek in Black and another in White. Finishing them, I hope, at Cosford on Sunday. It'll give me something to do. Apart from making strange noises, that is.....

Quite enjoyed building the old Revell/Matchbox 1/72nd Beaufighter X. Done if in flying configuration, and it's done as an Air Police bright yellow one for Biggles.
Next up, a 1/72nd Hunter F.6....in a retro scheme, possibly desert finish, or 1940 Fighter Command colours.

Instead of the Hunter I've built a 1/72nd Italeri Kfir C.7......RAF colours, again in flight mode.
Almost finished a 1/144th B-29 that'll be RAF for Biggles.
Then it's a couple of F-4 Phantoms; one USAF with the crew suffering the effects of Agent Orange.....the airframe will look beyond its best too. The other F-4 will be a "Hippie Flower Power" one, distributing seeds, etc., and with a giant propeller....
On Sunday, I start another Very Short Sunderland......the original was broken some time ago, so I need to build a bright one for Biggles.

On another note, RAF anti-flash paint appears to be Gloss White. Why not PINK??
Pink was used for various purposes and would have looked good on the V-Bombers. :o

So...McDonnell Douglas's variation on a Thunderstreak?

Why not. It would have camouflaged them against the glow on the horizon as they made their escape  ;)

A very good point, although my PINK bomber will be a Washington B.1(Special).

To go with the Very Short Sunderland, I've acquired a kit to be built as a Very Short Stirling, and I already have the kit for the Very Short Tucano.
Interesting times ahead. Should be an epic Stafford display at Coventry!!

By the way, with these Very Short aircraft.....are they flown by dwarves?? Just asking. :banghead: :banghead:

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

I'll see what I can do.....lots to photograph.

Currently bursting with ideas....I have a small Snowspeeder finished, and a small Tiger Tank finished too......the combination with a launch rack applied seems natural.

More RAF Kfirs on the way too. I have "a few" to build.
In my world, Krfirs are part of the Spectre family, built by Armstrong-Whitworth.

Mirage III family = Spectre Mks 1 to 12
Mirage F.1 family = Spectre Mks 13-15
Kfir family = Spectre Mks 16-20
Mirage 2000 family = Spectre Mks 21 onwards.

I have a variety of "Spectre" derivations to build in 1/72nd.

I see you've formed the Hippie Plastic S.I.G. ? 50 years since the Summer of Love

I was only 15, but no way a Hippy. Indeed being a Skin Head (Suede Head actually) before it became all political we considered them our "enemies"  ;D

Can't wait to see what you come up with at Telford

Lots on the "go", including a major relocation of my "shed"....that's the one called "The Radish Shed"....upstairs. It means I'll be nearer the clouds, and will broadcast loud music to the local area. Lots of Viking Death Metal, other loud stuff, and some great music from the '60s and '70s.
The "alternative RAF" progresses....
Kfir, Mirage 2000D, soon a MiG-21 and an Su-17...all in 1/72nd.
"Hippie Plastic SIG" builds too, but I've not forgotten GOTH, as the Giant Nazi robot with Dinosaurs and soldiers will indicate.
Also, look out for the "Phantom Phantom", an F-4G flown by a Ghost. In fact, there'll be a small collection of Ghost flown aircraft on the GOTH stand at Telford. They'll be recycled wrecks flown by the Dead, the Undead, and Spirits in the defence of Earth from Alien attack.
Meanwhile, what if Aliens did invade Earth, and their "Giant Mothership" turned out to be the size of a White Van, and each Alien was 3" high, with 8 legs, and was PINK.  :banghead: :banghead:

.........and were accidentally eaten by a golden retriever, who mistook them for his lunch.  The "Giant Mothership"  was later towed away by the local constabulary and crushed, as it was not found to have a current MOT or third party insurance.............and so the alien invasion of Earth came to naught.

By shed, do you mean that "room" downstairs that is currently stuffed with your modelling stuff ?
