WAS stuffed with my modelling thingies.
Mostly moved now, upstairs, ....much stored here and there...loft, outside shed, and in bin liners for the tip.
Finished for today as my back and shoulder hurts.
Herself has arrived via BA in Stockholm....their flight was cancelled so they rebooked.....flew out earlier!!

The relocation of "The Radish Shed"....I have an official sign, is almost complete....should be totally done by Wednesday, I hope.
In the meantime, I've FINALLY completed my two abandoned RB-57Qs....

Not done much recently.
Reading, preparing for our "Renewal of Wedding Vows", surprisingly MY idea, and just tidying things.
The trouble is, when not actually doing some plastic, I think up new ideas.....

1/24 Racing car in RAF colours, with a nice lady figure alongside. I already have the necessary parts!!
1/72 B-25 Water Bomber
Lots of different schemes on Kfirs.
RAF MiG-21, 27, 29
Giant Frog being attacked by tiny men.....this is a definite...for the GOTH display.

Never took you for an old romantic Tel ?  Plus surprised Mid said yes, or did she ?

Popular at the moment. I've got two to go to latter this year. My niece is having the full white wedding bash at the origional church with her dogs as "flower girls"  :o In theory anyway  ;)

Well ours isn't traditional, like the first "do." For that it was the full religious bit as Mid's family knew the vicar. I livened it up a bit by falling out of the pew and by getting her name wrong!!
The vicar's wife made the arrangements for the reception at the Town Hall, but was more notorious the following year for being found guilty of Threatening Behaviour when she kept contacting a former lover!! All reported next to the photo on Page 3 of the Sun. Exciting.
This will be more relaxed, in our back garden with just a small entourage, and the non-religious service taken by a friend, a former pupil. And you've seen some of my former pupils!!! All very informal, of the '70s, with beads and flowers. :o :o

Twas a great afternoon...sunshine, flowers and butterflies.

Now back to serious things like finishing the wounded Soviet Desert Tortoise with Turret in 1/35.
Then a host of other stuff to finish before starting something new.
I fancy a 1/72 B-25....got "a few" in stock. RAF Bomber Command Night scheme?? Biggles Special Air Police Yellow?? RAF Natural Metal Transport?? RAF PR PINK??
I'm on an "RAF BINGE" at the moment...perhaps another KFIR beckons, or another Phantom or......well....lots!!

See people at IPMS Birmingham's "Last Hurrah!!"

Are the RSPCA or indeed the grandchildren aware of this ?  ;) Somehow a Tortoise seems more suited to a role in the Afrika Korps ? Although maybe it does have a WWII Soviet helmet look to it

In a desert somewhere in Asia, or possibly North Africa, fighting against Alien Invaders....

Meanwhile, having sold recently 16  large banana-boxes of unstarted items from "the stash", I'm now negotiating to sell another 200 kits from the depleting stash. I'll still have enough models to last me until the Planet loses the ability to sustain most of humanity....which according to an article I've recently read, might be sooner than we think.....100 years? 150 years?? It's the heat and starvation that'll "do" for us. ;D ;D ;D ;D

Absolutely.

Meanwhile...Privatised Units in the Armed Forces.
Some parts are already "outsourced"...ie privatised.
When will others be? Just wondering......

Given your admirable propensity for involving wildlife in your work, have you yet considered the  whiffability of the tale of the elephant found swimming 10 miles off the Sri Lankan coast?
