well what a day, i had to leave at 2pm but we had a cracking time

hawk, shaddow, islander, sentinal, 757, king air!

That looked pretty busy, was Wad involved in that exercise that was running out of Leeming?

I checked on that 757-200F, OO-TFA, and it seems to be a bit of a mystery ship.

It used to be with Air Finland, Air Holland and Air Scotland (an AH subsidiary) but it was bought by TNT for a freighter conversion late 2011. There's only TWO piccies of it with that reggie  on Airliners.net!!!

According to JetPhotos.net, it was at Geilenkirchen NATO Air Force Base on 16 April 2012.

Hm, even more interesting.

That caption is dated April 16th, yesterday, and yet Mark's piccies were taken on Sunday, two days ago.......... :unsure:

we knew she was due in so, used the flight radar app on my phone and tracked her from belgium, into france landed in france then over to us, and back out over germany

It would be great, though as there are only five of them and they're due to be retired shortly I doubt it. And it's too different to the civvie version to come with airliner options...

Nothing quite like our short-sighted Government to retire an aircraft they've spent a FORTUNE on (of our money.....) with no plan for a replacement of any sort.  :banghead:
