she been granted a stay of executions until 2015, but......

im not sure if everyone knows or not all our E3 awacs are grounded at present due to a faulr in the radar stack support, and sentinal is actually done in the e3 job and rather well! only prob is she has a very limited range and time on target

It would be great, though as there are only five of them and they're due to be retired shortly I doubt it. And it's too different to the civvie version to come with airliner options...

Nothing quite like our short-sighted Government to retire an aircraft they've spent a FORTUNE on (of our money.....) with no plan for a replacement of any sort.
