Who's is the four prop-bladed D520 between the post-War Luftwaffe Spit 14 and the Gnat with the dayglo stripes?

Curious 'cos I've only seen one whiffed D520 on this forum (as far as I can remember) and that's not it.

And guess what I'm building at the moment (although BoB vintage)!

Nice photo's Alistair - cheers

As for the D520, I did a Finnish one, but never thought about upgrading it
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

PR19_Kit

Whose is the 'in-line' T7 Hunter parked behind my PR19b in the tenth piccie down please?

Probably Jim or Martins as one did the resin and the other the canopy for the conversion

I have to say I'm appalled, truly appalled........by my LACK of production and imagination compared to what's on show.
Well done chaps!!

Well done Jim!  (again....  ;D)

Which one of the JayBee entries was the winner?

And what are the two white devices, ninth piccie down, please?

Russ, they are various versions of the Huntsman project, a RW idea that never got built. A Hunter wing with a new twin engined (Orpheous I think...?) fuselage with seats for 8-10 as I recall. TSRJoe did some resin fuselages for the Huntsman a while back and quite a few of us have them now.

That's a D522 I have been told, with a Merlin Engine

Mmmmm, Yak-15s  I'm sure I've seen that lineup before but I don't get tired of them.

The last photo has what looks like a late model Spitfire on floats. A racer?

Not sure about the Spit on floats, I think it was fairly recently posted on the forum, a few weeks ago if I remember correctly.

You have to remember that the display is not entirely made from the collection of the people at the show, several models do travel around such as Lees AEW Lancaster.

It was the Banshee that won Jim the prize. No idea about the two proposed research aircraft though I do have a feeling that they are probably in the British Secret Project books.

Hi Kit

The one with the nose intake is the Supermarine 553 and the other is the Hawker 1134.

The Supermarine 553 is in BSP:Fighters and was a P1 proposal for a Mach 2 test bed, that one was scratch built using upvc plumbing tube an Su-9 and plastic card.
The Hawker 1134 was a hypersonics test vehicle with twin ram jets with a jet engine between them to provide the initial propulsion.

I don't remember that one. Vostoc7 did a number of Schneider Trophy racers a while ago but no Spitfire.

Martin H has a close up photo in the gallery he linked: Griffon, "Speed Spitfire" canopy, Mk XIV (or so) tail Mk 22/24 wing.
