Gondor

I did look to see if there was a thread already but could not find one for this year. If I got that wrong please delete this thread.

I know this thread is added at fairly short notice as the show is the last weekend of this month, 28th and 29th of April.

I know that Myself, Jaybee and OGL will be there along with a motley collection of built "items" and I am hoping to provide another three which will double the number of produced items in a year for me

could just be us three this year, and Joe on the R&D/PC stand. Lenny is laid low, and im told Sandy/Tojo has family matters to attend to.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Size (of the stash) matters.

If you let me know nearer the date if it is just us three then I can always dig out some more of my builds if needed.

As I won't be in Newcastle it would mean London - Perth - London. Plus there may be other plans for that weekend now

The Wooksta!

Due to lack of transport, not to mention blue foldy stuff, it's decidedly unlikely that I'll be there either.

S'ok, I'd have to stop up there and just can't afford it at the mo.

Mmmmm, Yak-15s  I'm sure I've seen that lineup before but I don't get tired of them.

The last photo has what looks like a late model Spitfire on floats. A racer?

There's what looks like a Spitfire XIV (or a PRXIX) in twin floats in front of the AEW VC10. What's the story on the 4 jet Herk, that looks terrific.

What a superb collection, you guys excelled yourselves, well done indeed.

I just wish it wasn't so darned far!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Nice to see Dougal getting another outing.  I'm doing the finishing touches on the Grand Slam one to go with it, whilst the Lancaster spoofer/jammer has almost completed decalling.

That's what I meant. Something in the wing shape suggested to me that it could be an even later model but it could be just the photo angle. I wish I could get a better look...
