It's only been about one year since backwards arse Oklahoma finally allowed us stronger than 3.2.

No progress at all as I've been decidedly roughfor almost a week or so and am not feeling 100% even now. No idea what I've had, but it wasn't/isn't very pleasant. Hopefully shake it off completely in the next couple of days.

One good point however is that my Photobucket account is up and running again, so at least my posted pictures are showing up.  I got a good payment deal with them before they started on the last couple of years of "nonsense" and to their credit they had stuck to it and appear to be continuing to do so. I will keep the rest of my thoughts to myself.

I did wonder who'd be the first. Strangely I didn't have you down in the "book"  ;)

Coronavirus! Coronavirus!  :o :tank: :dalek:

;D ;D

I swear, man, the media overhypes this stuff and has people that are in no way likely to catch it....  like.. people here in Oklahoma....  the likelihood of international travelers coming here to come to your neighborhood to spread this stuff around is so low...   "BUT BRAD, LITTLE BABIES AND IMMUNOCOMRPROMISESS PEOPLE!!!1111!"  Well, they have to be AROUND the virus to catch it still so....

ANYWAY.  ;D

Feel better, Chris!!!!  Crayola Virus ain't nothing to toy with.

I can see the hospital in which they have the first confirmed US Wuhan-virus* case confined by looking
out any of the windows on the south or west sides of the house. It's on 13th, we live on 5th.
I'll have a ringside seat for the Zombie Apocalypse. ;D  ;).

*I'm tired of the coronavirus crap, the name applies to a group of viruses, not a specific virus.  :banghead:
SARS and MERS are both coronaviruses.

Still no progress  :-\, still not feeling 100%  :-\.

Hopefully I'll get a little bit done this weekend, even if it's only on the Tamiya Skyray which is a gorgeous little kit.

I also want to try out the U.V. Light curing glue I got before the Halifax/Huddersfield show next week, but I need to be fully recovered in order to be completely fair to it. We shall see.

Reiterate the feeling of better.....

Someone bumped the topic here today or yesterday about bondic, and now you mention this. It's funny, after seeing that topic bumped, I bought some myself and is on the way in the post.

We all need to get together and compare notes.

The UV curing glue I got is branded as "Visbella" and is all the way from the U.S.A.

Brilliant!!  Stupid of me to not consider that there could be more than one brand of this stuff...     Visbella is cheaper than Bondic and I think it comes with twice the amount of glue. I went ahead and snagged one. Should be here within the week.

It's UV activated liquid plastic weld. Stays in a liquid state until you want to harden it instantly (about 5 seconds I think) by shooting it with a little light wand thing. Sounds quite useful....   I can think of so many instances where glue hardened too fast or transversely took forever to dry up (looking at you, CA!).

Perfectly sums it up

I got mine with a specific task in mind, which does not require any structural strength as such so I think it should be o.k. for that. From what I've read the stuff stays slightly "flexible" so anything requiring structural strength is probably out, although "the proof of the pudding" as they say. I doubt very much if I'll be trying mine out before I go away for 10 days or so, but we will see.
