I think it's UK manufactured.

I had read somewhere they were bringing some of the recent tools back home.

Had a bit of a mischievous  thought (I blame my Covid jab) whilst reading the new tool Airfix Vulcan build report in Airfix Mag.

Now whilst the Vulcan would not normally tickle my fancy I suddenly thought of the response one in French AF markings would get at Telford 2021 ?

Argentina were looking to buy some before they sent their soldiers on holiday in the South Atlantic islands.

That might have been...awkward.  Although, would the RAF have equipped the Black Buck mission for anti-air, a la Megafortress?

After my thoughts re a French Vulcan I had a look in the transfers part of the stash and found I have some Mirage IV transfers. They are on a freebee given away in a magazine a few years ago, it was probably spotting that sheet whilst looking for something else the other day that triggered the original thought ?

Whilst going through the same Post WWII transfers box I was also struck by the thought of how a Vulcan would look with that huge planform decorated by "special/commemorative" markings of some sort or another. Probably have to use 1/48 or larger but it would be some "canvas" to decorate.  ;) Retirement scheme anyone ?

However we digress. Got a little bit more done to the Lagg this morning before it got too cold in the work room. All the internals fit together very well indeed and the construction method is very well thought out. Proof of the pudding however will be will they fit in the fuselage and will the fuselage close around them ? We shall see either tomorrow or early next week, at which time I'll open a proper thread for it as I've now decided it will definitely be a Whif.

617 Sqdn. retirement scheme with a HUGE damn painted all the way across that wing, breached of course.......... ? ;)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Don't know about that, Kit, but 617 Vulcan retirement is a good call.  Maybe three thunderbolts under each wing?  The first on each following the wing leading edges, emanating from the lower fuselage sides?

A 'Huge Damn..." what?  ;)

I agree, though - you have to have a sense of History and Tradition. ;D

Indeed they do and it does

I think an average modeller could build this without having to go through any PSR at all, it's that well made. I however may need a little Mr Surfacer 500 and I can blame that on my severe stigmatism.

I've a couple more Clear Prop kits in the stash. They are moving up the "to build" pile  ;)
