The Wooksta!

The MetroCentre is positively hateful, as are all shopping malls.  Haven't been there for six years and long may that continue.

funnily enough that's the last time I went there as well  ;D  I was up there with my parents and siblings, to see an uncle..

I dislike being in crowds but positively loathe being in crowded shopping centres.  They make me wish for a machine gun.

AK47.  For when you absolutely, positively have to kill every mother**ker between you and the exit...

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

And when that runs out, a Bat'leth or a scythe.

A Great/Dane Axe would be my bladed hand weapon of choice in these circumstances. ;D

A screaming, vomiting toddler  clears a way to the exit remarkably rapidly.       No, fortunately, not one of mine but the daughter of a friend;   in the Metro Centre many years ago.

Agreed, there is a downside,  but on the whole I'm very happy with our two sons........and our grand daughter

Ah, from personal experience from three children (and a shed load of dogs), it's a matter of training. We've experienced one (1) tantrum, immediately resulting in said delinquent being carried out to the car and strapped down on her seat cushion. She was shocked enough to just clam it and there was no sweets that Saturday evening. She learned very quickly that offensive behaviour in public spaces just isn't worth it, and when her younger brother, five years later, tried something similar, she very quickly took him aside and told him of the consequences to be expected..

I have a few friends who have elected not to procreate. I find that a respectable decision, but for my own part, and in particular after receiving my cancer diagnosis, my kids are the very meaning and essence of my life. To quote a very bearded bloke from California - Nothing else matters..  ;)

But you're buying them like they're going out of style Alastair.......

Methinks a mis-type?  ;D

Got back from a week "oop North" yesterday, so a couple of days to get back on top of everything and then hopefully back to the bench and finish the Beaufort and Arsenal.
