My 4th jab was the same, a bit sore right away, but that soon vanished. Then it came back over a wider area later in the day and stayed that way for 2-3 days. OK now though.

Very little progress, been out and about and also not in the mood. Won't get much done this week either as I'm away for a few days and I want to break the back of the Newsletter. So hopefully come back feeling rejuvenated and ready for the bench. We shall see

This is supposed to be fun, not a "must-do". Let it take the time it needs. Sooner or later, joy will return. And we will still be here..  ;)

I agree with the others, Chris, do other stuff and then return to the builds.  Or get distracted by a new build

Actually what I'm finding the most enjoyable part of my modelling is making and painting ejection seats.  Maybe you need a radial engine (cos I know you prefer prop-driven stuff) to detail, paint, wash and highlight - or a 54mm Airfix Napoleonic figure.

...or a 1/25 car engine.  That's what gets my mojo working.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Cheers lads.

Unfortunately it was the detail painting I used to enjoy the most, but my ongoing eye problems are giving me some quite serious issues. But we shall get there

Been away from the bench and the site for a few days in Canterbury with a few old school mates, and yes we did visit the Cathedral and a local museum  ;D

No progress over the weekend (been busy with the Newsletter etc) but hoping to get something done at the bench this week, it's only just over 4 weeks before I'll be travelling to Telford after all

Still no progress  :-\  However I decided not to push the Tempest II's for Telford. If they get done, they get done. If not then I'm not going to fret. Instead I'll look at finishing the Hornet, although it probably wont get done in time. However assuming I get the He 162's by next week, they were posted today but postal strikes may delay them, then I shall try and get them done to accompany the Me 109 K-14.

Hopefully taking the pressure off myself will up my productivity.

Why rush, mate? There's always next year's Telford show!

That's what I said last year

I don't know how you guys can tolerate deadlines on the subject you wish to be at ease with. Your model, your way, your time.
