Some progress.

The Whitley is almost there. I really am actually quite surprised with myself for finishing this. I really, really have made a pig's ear of it, but for some reason I feel obliged to finish the poor thing. Unfortunately it got caught right in the middle of the phase when my brain wasn't up to settling down to the job and I let frustration get the better of me and on top of that I'd got to the point when I had no idea what the best glasses to wear when modelling were. I still haven't if I'm honest, but at least I can deal with now.

On top of all that I lost the poor things landing light transparency. However I discovered that a trimmed Hurricane cockpit canopy fits quite nicely  So there's a couple more frames to do and then the props to fit and I'll get a couple of shots up before committing her to a box for the rest of time.

Progress continues with the Skyray and I've completed the more time consuming transfers so should start to make faster progress now.

Need to sort out the next kit now. Probably be the Arma Hobby Pzl P.7 but in a Wif scheme.

Whitley is finished. I'll get a couple of photos done of her and posted in the next few days or so.

Skyray has her transfers done, so is getting quite near the line, or at least she'll be hearing the bell for the last lap soon. I only used a couple of Tamiya transfers and I'd forgotten just how long they take to come off the backing paper !

As I like to work with 3 at a time I'll be starting on the Pzl 7 in the next couple of days, all being well.

Skyray on the way!!  I'll keep the tip regarding the transfers in mind as i'll also be using some from the Tamiya kit on mine.

Only three?

It seems to be the optimum number for me. Occasionally I'll have a couple more going especially if one or more gets bogged down, but normally it's 3.

The Skyray is very nearly there. I've been masking the canopy and unusually for me doing it like an adult. Taken ages, but given the shape of its framing I couldn't use my normal method. I'm really no good at masking canopies and it's something I can genuinely blame on my eyesight problem for once  ;) Both the long standing and more recent ones.

PSR continues on the Phantom, but again I'm getting there.

Chris, have you paid your Photobucket fees ... protection money ... bribe ... ransom?

Because all your images are showing with the intrusive/obstructive Photobucket watermark ... graffiti. :-\

I was wondering when they show up.

A few years ago I got a very good and cheap deal with Photobucket which renewed just before all the changes to the site took pace. My deal has obviously run out, whence those adverts

Not feeling to great today (don't think it's Covid 19 touching wood) so I'll have a look when I feel a bit better.

Hope you're feeling better, mate. Take care and don't wait too long to get checked out if you have any of the symptoms.

Your pics all look normal to me.

Well, as normal as anything can do on here.   ;)

Stay well mate.

Yup I'd noticed that, but wasn't sure if he had the same deal as me ?

Anyway Onwards and Upwards  ;)

Skyray is just about done. Need to varnish, fit the under wing load and the canopy and that's it. So should get done this week. The Phantom is just about ready for paint and I'm starting to build some of the sub-assemblies for the PZL 7. It's got individual exhaust outlets which attach to the cylinders, should be fun ?
