That's quite pretty, for a '109 anyway.

For some reason the V tail goes well with the colour scheme.

Does it have FOUR swastikas on the tail?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Yes it does Kit.

The kit it'self only provides 2 (in parts anyway) so I replaced them. In all honesty it doesn't look quite right with 2 and it doesn't look quite right with 4  so I settled for 4. My logic was that Me 110's had 4 so I've treated them as inner and outer rather than upper and lower.

I just left them off.  But then I do that on conventional tails.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I'm still using a couple of sheets of swastika's I bought at BMW's in Haydon's Road.

Want to try and get my Mohawk finished this week together with my PZL-62, but I'm feeling a bit down for some reason. We shall see.

I still have a couple of HisAirDec sheets too. They were class decals, them and ABT were my faves of the period.

I have a couple of ABT sheets as well Kit, not quite as old though.

I used to love that "Big Book" they had down at BMW's. Used to go down once every couple of weeks to Haydon's Road and browse through it when I was 14 or 15. Always bought something  ;D

I won't get them finished, but at least I've made a little progress so obviously feeling better  Just going to gradually make some progress on the four current builds and settle for that

Made a little progress on all of the current builds  Also ordered a couple of bits from the Big H

My motivation is gradually returning which is a good sign. I think the very high temperature and humidity was partly why it took a walk, but there's been a couple of other things making me a little sad as well. Still as said above it's returning.

The Mohawk is almost there now and the Ki-102 will to start to get its canopy framing done next trip to the bench. Real world interferes for the next couple of days however.

I've spent rather a bit of time down our local hospital for various reasons over the last couple of weeks, whence not much modelling done, and it wasn't until I was chatting with a nurse this morning that I realised the NHS is 70 on Sunday. I always thought it was 1948, but it was 1950, so it was 2 when I was born  ;D

Obviously recently we've all realised how lucky we are to have it, and yes it could function better, but then could every institution, but it is one of the UK's great achievements. So can you all raise a glass of whatever to its 70th Birthday.

Chris

Oh and on the modelling front I'm hoping to get something done this weekend. We will see.

That will teach me to trust my own memory  ;D The NHS is 72 years old on Sunday, still I was in the hearing clinic, so I probably miss-heard something.  ;) Been thinking about it all night. Doesn't change my sentiments though

The Wooksta!

I had to make a stencil for the pastry chef to spray the plates for the desert at an NHS anniversary function two years back.  Can't remember what the potatoes or meat on the main were but the veg was Creamed Savoy with roasted Broccolli.  One of the few times I'd ever agree with HW Bush...
