That Tempest looks good, Chris!
It looks like the type of plane the Portuguese could've had... ;)

Maybe a Mk II post War  ;)

The MK II will do just fine, thank you! Any prediction of when it'll be ready?  ;D

Don't push your luck  ;)

I need to get the kit first, hopefully on Sunday at Milton Keynes. I wanted to try a different way of constructing the fuselage but couldn't think what markings to put her in. You've solved that for me

Good day at MK Show yesterday, although the lighting was poor to put it mildly. Acquisitions are listed elsewhere.

Only slight downside was when coming home the Tube was already standing room only when it arrived at Euston. On a Sunday ? Now I know Arsenal were at home, but still. Then even more people tried to get on at Oxford Circus, with their shopping, so I went and had a pint at Victoria to calm down.

Good to see Lee there, such a long way from home

No modelling done, been in Bournemouth for a few days with a few lads I've known since secondary school. We met 59 years ago this coming September and are still great mates  A nice couple of days, weather was nice enough to stroll along the beach and onto the pier, but you can tell we're getting older. Actually went to the Russel Cotes Museum (fascinating place, classic example of a house belonging to a Victorian "Traveller and collector") rather than spend all our time in the pub. Still went to a few pubs though  ;)

Spent a good time at the Elstree show yesterday with Dave Kitbasher . Very pleasant show with a good mix of traders and clubs/SIG's  Within the traders there were those catering for most wallets and a couple specialising in tools and accessories as well which was good to see  Layout was well done and it was quite airy, although the fine weather almost certainly helped.

Just before I left I got involved in a conversation with some people on one of the figure stands about the providers of wargames figures back in the 60/70's. I think myself and one other gent showed our age rather  ;D

Couple of hours to get home and I was a tad "creamed" if I'm honest. Still feeling a little so this morning. Can't travel at all well nowadays.  :-\ Still hopefully find out a little about the way forward latter this week

I do know the feeling, since my "normal" work day commute starts before the sun's up, and can end after the sun's gone down.  Which is why I'm looking forward to the "teleworking test period" the state civil service commission has started "trialing" (never mind we spend most of 20 and 21 working from home).

Rather like my commute all those years (15) or so ago Scoot. The way things are have only really sprung on me over the last couple of years and I think the doc's have started to get to the bottom of it. Although as I've said to a couple of the lads it always worries you a tad when the Specialist says " your case is extremely interesting Mr Edwards"  ;)

One must always become concerned when the specialists say that.
