Had an e-mail from IHG who's arrived in New Zealand ok. Sent a couple of pics and the scenery looks stunning.

He says he'll be back on site next week - ah the wonders of the Web  :thumbsup:

New Zealand was me and the missus's first choice when we decided to emigrate years ago.  A job in my line of work came up first in Canada, so that's where we ended up -----  and I don't regret it one iota

Yep I'm here, and the Hobbits are worried !!

Only limited i'web access just now, so no up/downloading of pics. As Chris mentioned, we are all fine, the scenery (what we've experienced in the last ten days) is glorious and this morning...






...I got a job !!  :party:






All I need to do now is find $1,000NZ for my Real Estate exams, then pass them and I can start earning my keep !! - Hugz to all, please stay in touch folks, just coz I'm on the other side of the planet from most of you, doesn't mean we can't exchange opinions, ideas, advice and, erm... 'banter'

Now you're on the right side of the planet, things'll start to get interestin' for you.    Remember, Christmas is now in July.  The water goes down the plughole the right way and of course, you'll meet some sensible creatures like the Kiwi, a nearly blind, flightless bird and the Kakapo, a flightless Parrot.  Mmm, bit of a trend there...  ;D

Hmmm, all the Kiwi's we've encountered so far are really friendly not noticed any with impaired vision, 'cept for the one that cut-me-up driving out of the BP station this afternoon !! - and yep thingz are 'interesting' !!

Glad you've made it okay! :thumbsup:  Congrats on getting a job so quickly, I've known several people who have emigrated to take a long time to get a job due to red tape.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.
