Soviet colours in WW2

Can anyone point me to a source of color schemes for VVS aircraft in WW2? I have a subject started, but do not know how it would have been painted.

A bottle of Vodka to all who help!

Comrade Ollie has truly pointed the Socialist Worker's the way with his magnifdicent proletariate advice.
Basically lots of green, black, brown, greys etc over a light blue/grey uppers.
Snow in winter meant glorious virginal-socialist white.
Oftain a silver dope was used too.
Lots of fun with WW2 schemes.

If anyone could have had made a working combat autogyro, it would have be our beloved Uncle Joe and the great Kamov company. Excellent for use aboard our aviation vessels. A trip to the local Socialist supply house is in order.

Oh, most definately naval; pre-, during, and just post- are all on my to-do list, once I pick up kits. I already have the during-war kit in hand, and need to procure proper markings and colors. Your posted images will be invaluable! Thank you!

For our first carrier, the Komsomolets of 1927, research shows I-15, -15bis, and 16 were flown, though there may have been others. And just after the war, the inadequate Western planes were quickly scrapped in favor of indigenous designs, but so many designs were experimented with I am not certain which were chosen for operations.

I shall demonstrate the superior flying abilities of the Socialist flying corps and designs of our aircraft builders!

There is good news and middling news.

The good news is that an I-16 has just landed in my closet, to be modified for operations aboard the Komsomolets.

The US Navy has also managed to acquire a Su-34, and are converting it to use aboard one of their stuporcarriers! (Hah, hah, hah! Uncle Joe says laugh at Communist joke or else...) They realized the clear superiority of Soviet aviation, but now our dear motherland will be faced with the risk of meeting our own aircraft in combat! We fear not, for our own pilots are far superior to the decadent western capitalist running dogs, but they may resort to dirty tricks by attempting to confuse our heroic Socialist aviators!
