Hi, well aircav got me here so here's my first post.
It's a wip but there's choices to be made so what do you all think?
There's 2 or 4 engines, with or without drop tanks.
It has been said to swap the tanks over but they're off a Buccaneer and have big 45 degree lips moulded on and as they are, are an almost made for it fit, just the odd angle which I quite like.
OK.  Lets see if I can get the photos in.
Have your say.

Looks good with the tanks for sure. What type are the resin engines please?

2 engines and tanks as well,   makes it look a little alien, to me.... perfect wiff
the things you learn, give your mind the wings to fly, and the chains to hold yourself steady
take off and nuke the site form orbit, nope, time for the real thing, CAM and gridfire, call special circumstances.

The Buccaneer slipper tank look a bit like floats to me.....
So, if they could be made a bit bigger..
say from the 1/48 Airfix Buccaneer you'd have a Sea plane,
of course you'd have to mount the Engines over wing to keep
the water out...

I know, its late, its been a loooong day. Just a thought.

The British have raised their security level from "Miffed" to "Peeved". Soon though, security levels may be raised yet again to "Irritated" or even "A Bit Cross". Londoners have not been "A Bit Cross" since the Blitz in 1940 when tea supplies ran out for three weeks

Hi Kit.
The resin engines came from an epic failure of mine the Welsh models RAF Tri-star.

Well, that narrows it down to three.  ;D
Looking good Paul, the Arado not you , what about moving the tanks to the wing fold?
Steve, one of the three bearded ones.

Ahah, thanks, I thought they looked vaguely familiar somehow but couldn't pin them down. I've only got two Tri-Star kits to go by.

I'll go with the masses - 2 engines and the tanks

Hopefully see you at the model club next time I'm up North

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Now Steve, you don't call that bum fluff a beard, do you??
The tanks are fitted and the primer is on, with any luck it'll be done by next week.
