1:24 or 1:25 figures?

I build American cars and trucks and these are the usual scales I build in. They are affordable and easily found. BUT finding figures and military weapons in this scale is a real chore. My local hobby dealers look at me as if I'm nutty. (They do this anyway but their jaws usally doesn't drop!  :o).
Can anyone help me out?

Does no one make these in anything but racing crews, if that?

Preiser has figures in 1/22.5, 1/24 and 1/25: http://www.preiser-figuren.de/

There are some VERY strange choices of figures in the Preiser range. From one extreme, President Obama and Mrs. Obama to Adam and Eve no less, the latter minus any clothes of course........  :o

Do the Adam & Eve figures have belly buttons? I notice that in a lot of images. Think about that a bit.
Too bad my German has gone the way of the Kewi bird.  :banghead: I could never read it well anyway. All I want is early 1980s soldier figures in 1:25. Male and female.
Is there a way to get their list in English?

It doesn't look like it, if you press the Union Jack icon at the top of their listings it STILL comes out in German. If you click on the 'detail' link in the middle of every item it comes up with a piccie of it, but AFAICS there aren't any 1980s mil figures in 1/25.

This is a big UK Preiser stockist, so list in English:

This is the "official" "Preiser UK" stockist (but I think Gaugemaster's site is easier to use):

The only ones that I can think of as coming even close are the figures that come with the Tamiya 1/25 Centurion Mk.III: http://www.emodels.co.uk/plastic-kits/tamiya-centurion-mkiii-30614-p-15710.html

Well besides the berrets they wear (We still wore standard caps) what would I do with all the tank? [At this point The Evil Fyling Monkey Warrior is whispering in my ear "Half Track F-15 Ford"]. Oh lord, I think WhIffing is contagious!  :o

No joy at any of those sites. I might have to cut something up.

Try Hobby Linc.  The figures are G-scale (1:29), but may be close enough...

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.
