This whole discussion is Terning in a very disturbing direction.
Even I am having a hard time coming up with a different tern on how to use these fine airships.

I just had a momentary nasty tern - I thought someone was punning.

Okay I found a picture under Strikemaster. Sort of like the T-37 Dragonfly over here. That should "Haul the Mail"!

Good, now imagine one of these with an arrestor hook and  offset single cockpit.   You may then attempt to TERN it into a plastic model........or add to the back-story if that's what TERNS you on.

Whiskered Tern = EW variant
Sooty Tern = firefighter (or firebomber spotter plane)
Bridled Tern = target tug?
Caspian Tern = Azerbaijan variant
Inca Tern = Peruvian variant
River Tern = floatplane river patrol variant

Old Wombat

Spectacled Tern = Photo Reconn.
Noddy = Pacific Islands variant (lots of noddy's in the Pacific/Oceania region), perhaps also used in the Caribbean (where they also have quite a few noddy's)

Whoops, completely missed that one!

But I'll add the obvious Chinese Tern and the slightly less obvious Aleutian Tern for the Alaska ANG (fishery patrols of the Aleutian chain? - I'd want another engine!)
