Sorting out the stash

It's easier when the Mrs. has her own stash of hobby material; in my case she scrapbooks, and naturally needs to keep adding materials of her own.

Me, though, I've decided I have to cut it down by actually building, because I've run into "the tyranny of choice". I look at the stash and I just can't decide what to work on, so I dibble and dabble and find I'm not having the same fun I used to do. So I've decided I don't buy until I finish three models.  :-\
In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.

The Mrs never saw my stash until she became The Mrs and we moved into our new home with our belongings.  Needless to say she was rather surprised  ;D

I take it that this is a new, milder, version of surprised that we were previously unaware of

lol you just never know.

Any way, today has been spent laying insulation and flooring the part of the loft where the stash normally lives. The larger kits are now back up there in their corner of the loft. The spare room now has a little more space to move around in ;D

I always hope for the best.

After a week on doing nothing with the loft or the stash. This weekend has been all about getting the stash back home.
its being done in short bursts of activity due to the loft feeling something like a blast furnace. An outside temperature of 25 degrees C might be considered cool in the warmer parts of the world, but in this neck of the woods its considered Bleedin hot! ;D

The lull in activity yesterday, allowed me to do one thing ;D Ive brought a new car. I pick it up on Friday. My trusty 2007 Renault Scenic has been replaced by a 2008 Toyota Prius. No I have not gone all environmental, its the £20 a year road tax that sold it to me. The Scenic costs me £190 odd a year.
I always hope for the best.

We will find out on Saturday, when its loaded up for its first long range trip.....................to Tyneside

Its in for a shock mileage wise. Its got around 19000 miles on the clock so far. Its an ex "fleet" car used in an around London. The dealer ive got it from is owned by the lease firm that the car is coming from. And apparently it was leased to Transport for London as a management runaround. So for all I know its never been driven out side of the M25.
I always hope for the best.

Perhaps sir would consider a little spaced armour for his conveyance?

Oh dear.  That's reduced its unrefuelled range to about 3 yards then...

And you sneered at my LPG Zafira..........  ;D

Does that mean that you and I are the SIG 'Environmental Sub-Section' now?
