Reet, spoken to Graham and What If, Willie Smith's Luftwaffe 46 display and Langley Moor should all be on the same island, which will help us no end.

Best of all, my Alternate Spitfire display gets it's own space.

I always hope for the best.

Martin, just a thought as it is close to the aniversary of D-Day shall we display the "Group of Soviet Forces Western Front" Assuming you have the Il-2 and I can find the Yak?

Aircav

Saw this dodgy looking character taking photos of the latest western aircraft at the show today.  ;D

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

It was a good show, not very crowded though. Thanks for the pics lads.
I had to laugh, Steve and I were discussing a "Hollywood" build with the USAAF doing the dambuster mission. I went to talk to some serious modellers about getting an Airfix dam base from the Lanc model. Outcome of this was a suggestion from the serious hobbyists to use a B-17F without the ball and mid upper turrets to save weight, as the B-24 I wanted to use couldn't carry the bomb system due to the construction of the bombdoors. Ok neither could carry the weight but its my Wif. On our stand of course this translated into a B-36 with how many bombs??

Half a dozen? Three in each bomb bay?  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit

Me, I'm dishonest, and you can always trust a dishonest man to be dishonest.
Honestly, it's the honest ones you have to watch out for!!!

Wouldn't a B-29 be suitable as a nearer fit to the timeline ?
