If no one has any to give.....I believe Heritage models in UK does a lovely resin one with a seprate basket....think it's the version the Victor tanker carried....

Just had a look at the site.....for £8 you get two resin pods, two little two blade props for the front and three baskets......which look really delicate......states they are for the matchbox Victor....hope this helps..

I have a set of them and they're really good, but those fans on the front need to be the LAST bits you fit to the model. There's no chance they'll survive PSR, paint, decals and varnish etc.

Nothing spare to offer sorry, I too found sourcing them difficult as few kits have them, so I made a pod for my WHIF 1/72 KGR.3 Harrier for the Falklands.

My source is a 1/48 targeting pod, but a vareity of 1/72 and 1/48 bombs and pods could do the trick.

I fashioned a front propellor out of scratch styrene.  I cut the read of the pod off and the stowed "basket" is the front of a matra rocket pod.

As they are from the spares bin- the price was right!

A TANKER Harrier!  :o

Now THAT'S different, nice idea and nicely done too.

Thank you Kit, the backstory was for a longer Falklands War, and a buddy refueling pod on a few quickly converted GR.3's could give a few more precious minutes on combat air patrol.  A KGR.3 would launch with a pair of Sea Harriers and top them both off giving them longer endurance.  internal pumps were also modified to better shift fuel around.  Sorry for the threat drift rickshaw- I was too stumped by the lack of 1/72 buddy pods and too cheap to buy aftermarket or a whole kit to get a buddy pod.

That's OK.  We often drift around here.  ;D

Nice model there BTW.

The Wooksta!

Buy a Matchbox/Revell Victor and build it as a bomber, leaving the IFR bits for other things.  The Revell Tornado GR1 also has a buddy refuelling pod.
