Adding some shading

Next: Sand color

Second camo color: Green

Last camo color: Dark green (hard to see)

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

A new model here, again this will be one of those 3€ Plastyk kits from Poland. A TS-11 Iskra. Or as the operator of thisp lane will say:

Greenland Airforce TS-11 Qinngorneq

This is the box

And this is what is in the box. Quite unusual plastic color for a plane.

Not too much parts, lets see if its ok to build as the last Plastyk plane i made. Of course you cannot compare it with a 20-30€ model, but for its price it was not bad.

This one will be make with a customized camo and decals.

Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

While I know about the Whisky War, this Greenland AF is set in the same What-If world as this model here Greenland Airforce UH-34, January 1967 where Greenland got its independence in 1965.

So, starting with the cockpit, I choose to give the pilots a red flight suit, better for rescuing them if they would go down somewhere over the ice

While the kit it pretty basic, it has at least some decals for the panels.

Back from vacation, its time to get into business again.

Surprisingly, the kit has a quite detailed engine. Unfortunately, you will not see anything of it once both parts of the fuselage are put together

Getting everything ready to paint

Base color and fist parts of the camo added

All colors have been added for the camo painting, a bit of clean us is needed here and there.

Now all the smaller parts like landing gear and weapons have to be made

Now all major parts are put together, it starts to look like an aircraft

And it is standing on its own wheels. Looks as if I added enough weight to the nose.

It happend a few times that I miscalculated the weight and had a tailsitter when completed.
But I think this time, it should be save when external tanks etc. are added.

Everything now is in place, painting is done and the wight seems to be good for the plane:

Payload is also added

So everything is ready for the decals now. Unfortunately, my new printer does not print decals so good as the old one. Especially those on white slide paper. So have to do a few experiments to get those off the paper and one the plane.
