Now that all the decals have been added and the model is waiting for its final finish, my engineer points out that there are some holes on top of the plane. Hmm, looks as if she is right.

But it would not be the engineer if she had not some kind of ides for this. I wonder what....

One of the exciting moments is always to remove the masking of the cockpit windows. Especially on those of a cockpit like the one of a He 177.  While I like the look, I hate the masking.

In the meantime, my engineer suggested that I could use the holes in the fuselage to load coffee and make this a coffee-delivery-aircraft. I do not know what I should say to this idea...

That's why I never built aircraft with greenhouses.

Say yes.

Tophe would have loved the idea.

A small project is ready to start. This is a 1/72 scale Plastyk kit of a FW190D. Simple model, just over 3€ on a polish online shop. Got this one together with some other kits form there.

This one will be build a a hypothetical post WW2 Egypt Airforce plane.

The box:

And this is in the box. Of course the kit cannot compared to an expensive one, but for its price, its more than ok.

A few smaller parts have been done so far:

Engine with engine cover

Landing gear

Start to build wings and fuselage

Well, that ought to make the 1948 Arab-Israeli War a tad bit more "interesting".

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model
