The Sabre is sexier with anhedral tailplane rather than dihedral. It will also be ridiculously stable in the landing circuit..  ;)
Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition!

Still in the process of masking - catastrophes in other projects prevented it to continue faster.

Finally, the main paint job is done, now lets concentrate on the little details.

Those colours actually make me think "RAF". ;)

Looking forward to the finished product!

If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

It took much longer than expected, but now the Luftwaffe F86 is completed. A non-WhatIF, I used this HobbyBoss kit to try some things with oil painted i wanted to do for a while.

This one is 1/72 scale, build OOB, and I really like those simple HobbyBoss kits for a quick build (even if this was not quick, it took 111 days to complete).

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Something that has been on my build list for a while now.

The DFS 346, an experimental German rocket plane which was intended to break the sound barrier. One partly completed prototype was captured by the Soviet Union at the end of WW2 and later completed and flown as the OKB-2 346. It reached speeds of 950 kph but then the pilot lost control had had to activate the rescue system. The plane crashed and was destroyed.

But for the What-If world, this will be made differently actually, this will be part one of a two part model.

This is an old Huma hit in scale 1/72:

Not many parts, but this kit has among the smallest injection parts I had seen so far. Hard to say how this can be build.

Only slow progress for the DFS 346, those tiny parts are really tricky to put together.

When build, I fear not much of this will be visible.
