I`m back.......!

After swimming back from Cornwall the only decent shots of aircraft I got were at Culdrose in the middle of a monsoon rain storm.......

.... and yes it really was that wet but not bad shots for a Sony compact.

Getting back to the rotordyne I have attached the wings and added the glass to the cockpit.

Need to crack on with this baby now.

That is a nice pic given you can see the rain in the shots

Dryed out yet ?
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Mossie

I do like those shots of the Merlin in the rain, rarely do you see pics in those kind of conditions.

Glad to see you cracking on with the Rotodyne!
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Slow, but steady progress, and it`s starting to take shape. Just need to clean up a few areas and it`s a good`n.

By the way, I've started a Rotodyne/Convertiplane TB so feel free to pop this in.

Just when I thought it was safe to go into Holborn MZ and not be tempted by the reduced price Revell Rotordynes, along comes this thread.  Aaargh!!!

That rotor is huge! Looking good. By the way the RN Merlin pics are very dramatic, nice job.

Cheers Kerick..  It was a tad wet at Culdrose that day....

Applied some decals today to see if I can give it that American 1950`s feel.

Not so sure if I suceeded but it`s the best I can do with what I have to play with.

Still a bit of finishing to be done, not least applying a wash, but that won`t be for a week or so as I need to order them and get it delivered.

That does look good in a USAF scheme.

There's no place for buzz numbers on a 'dyne though, and goodness knows what buzzes you'd allocate!
