I think this is where I post this?  :banghead: I mean there is the wooden one but I really dont wont to spend U.S. 200.00 for the thing and rip it up to scratch a cockpit. So is there anybody who makes one, or will?

Thanks, Joshua

Possibly someone like Special Hobby? But in 1:48 that's going to be a big model, and therefore expensive.
Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<

Rumour has it that Trumpeter are going to be doing a 1/35 UH-34 and Dauphin so you never know.  ;)

Trumpeter did a 1/48th Dauphin back in 2000 -- I have the USCG version.

Agree that a 48th Skycrane would be nice .. but only if they did the fire-bomber version too.
you may as well all give up -- the truth is much stranger than fiction.

I'm not sick ... just a little unwell.

Gordon Bennett!  :o

That scratchbuilt one was AMAZING! But surely it would have been easier to build a real one?  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

HOLY COW! That's some building. I just can't do that kind of work. On some models I've wanted and no kits are available, I've done as mentioned earlier, just gotten a display model and added some detail.
