It begins...


The obligatory, what's in the box shot


And the fit pic.  The dorsal quad .50 turret goes away, and the hole filled in.

My game plan is to do what OW did with his C-119C(T) for the turbos, along with reinforcing the leading edges of the cowls where the cuts are going to happen.  And I'll probably spend the next few days despruing, and prep work before beginning to really build this weekend.

a multi-role w/ transport capability like a Russian proposed enlarged OV-10 style might also be a thought.

Spent time today working on eliminating those annoying "Let's make this into a diorama" features that were molded in :banghead: along with trying to figure out updating the cockpit...may decide to go with a combination of things.  Time will tell.

And Tophe, sorry, there won't be any asymmetrical thrust features ;D

One thing I'm definitely learning on this build is patience...like trying to fit modern cockpit tubs into the nose of the 61, followed by their ejection seats :banghead:
