A non-What-If just left the shipyard:

IJN Tama, a 1/700 scale Tamiya kit. First Japanese ship to build in this scale.  I tried to enhance the antenna rigging and this was even more difficult than adding the crew and other PE parts. It still can be enhanced, but it is better than on the previous ship models I did.
Build OOB with PE crew and railing. Antenna is made from EZ-Line. Painted with Revel Aqua Color and Tamiya weathering rust.

As I have a few resin ship models around and no experience how to build them, I got a small, cheap resin ship to test this kind of models.

So here is the Torpedofangboot Ausland 7 - or TFA 7 - a small Kriegsmarine vessel. It was build as a Polish mine hunter in 1935 and scuttled after the German attack on Poland. Recommissioned in German service in 1941, it survived the war and was used until 1970.

This model - scale 1/700 - is really small and therefore I had to zoom in quite a lot for the photos. See the German destroyer and the 2-Cent coin to compare the size.

Too small for my eyes and clumsy great fingers.  I don't know how you manage it.
Well done.

Same thoughts exactly. It's tiny, well done

Sorry I missed these last two...amazing work ! And so tiny ! Great stuff. As always, your details and wee crew really bring them to life.

The year is coming to its end so now its time to start to build the strange stuff...

I am not sure if this is the right section here, as several kits - and the big spare part box - are required to build this one. But as the "Manfred von Richthofen" will be operated by the Kriegsmarine, I think it is a "ship".

So, here we go, those are the kits to use:

Lets begin with it :)

There's a set time for that?

I think you might be building something i've been thinking about.  Albeit a more modern version.
Can't wait so see if i'm right.
