The command tower now has been added to the model. Funnel is still missing and a lot of the "smaller" parts.

Now the funnel and boats have been added. Plus the smaller AA guns which were added to the ship during its last refit.

Several smaller parts are still missing.

Very cool!

Just make sure no-one tries to fire all the main guns simultaneously in a broadside! :o

If they fire the main guns all at once facing forward the ship will go rapidly astern!

Perhaps they'd have to fire the secondary armament in synchronisation to slow it down too?  ;)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

A bit more progress now, the first mast has been added.

The superstructure looks quite massive for such a small ship....

Most parts are added, first steps of rigging have been done.

Some smaller parts are still missing and the PE crew.

Time to start something new. Not really a What-If, but I need a small model to test something.

A Kriegsmarine Kriegsfischkutter, those converted fishing boats were used for multiple purposes in the Kriegsmarine: Sub Hunt, Patrol Boats and more.

The model is a quite new kit from ICM and their new boxes show very clear where those models are made. This kit is in 1/350, but the same is also available in a bigger scale (1/144 ?)

There are not so many parts for the boat, so it should not be too difficult to make.
