Finally, I was able to put some color on it and add the command tower structure:

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

That's turning out really cool, love the whole idea.

Absolutely gorgeous.

I particularly like that the lateral engines are positioned so as a well aimed prisoner can be flung into one from the flight deck.
Should one be of a suitably dastardly frame of mind of course...

@zenrat: I never thought of this idea, but i like it. Maybe to add a special "jump plank" at the end of the flight deck.... Like on a pirate ship :)

Some more smaller stuff made this week, the "sun deck" ahead the command tower, an officers-only area:

And some landing lights and Funkmess equipment on the lower side:

I would make the whole thing a pirate vessel.  But that's just me.  The more I see of this the more I love it and the more I want to build my own.

So tables, chairs and parasols for the sun lounge - officers only ?  ;D
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I have not mentioned them because I thought it was to be sure that they were on board. Or maybe some good looking Marinenachrichtenhelferinnen. Or Luftwaffehelferinnen. Depends on who will operate the Manfred von Richthofen - I am still not sure it is a Luftwaffe or Kriegsmarine projects.

@zernat: You have forgotten Ursula, Eva and Erika .... :)
