Spending some time on a cruise ship(AIDAblu) at the Canary Islands (with a bit rough sea), I got some more inspirations for this model.

The basic kit is completed now, just a few decals are missing, and now it should be pimped a bit:

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Now the PE part madness begins. The last missing decals were added - including the ship name - and now my engineer prepared the railings.

More PE railing madness. First try to add them in such a big number.

I wanted to play around with dome 3D printed stuff for a while. So now I tried it - bought a quite cheap 1/700 scale Peder Skram from Shapeway (about 15€) and now I will try to make something out if it.

Pic is not very clear, but the all-white is not very camera friendly. Have to see how it looks which some primer on it.

Now the ship is painted, and I added some parts from the spare part box: flashlights, rangefinders, boat davits, mast upgrade, radar and light guns.

Now started to work on the PE parts.

No What-If, but a completed ship has left the shipyard. The HMS Rodney.

The camp scheme was a bit a challenge. This is an old Tamiya 1/700 scale hit, build OOB plus some PE sailors and railings. Painted with Revell Aqua Colour.

This was the first British WW2 ship build by me, others will follow.
