Good enough that I figured it out and I never took Latin seriously 

Interestingly a lot of Roman "Latin" names are not Roman at all. Lorica Segmentata wasn't named as such until the the 16th/17th Centuries. We don't actually know what the Roman's called it. Same goes for a lot of things.

I could not find any Roman figures to print. And the price for 200 of those little figures was about 5€ incl shipping form China. Took about 14 days for delivery.

I was so bad at Latin that I set a school record for the lowest possible mark in the exams that still counted as a mark.

Quote my form master at the time :-

'Spackman, Latin into English 1, English into Latin 0. Average, one half!'

Cue loud cheers from all my form mates.

Adding some more crew and more of the smaller parts. Soon the superstructure can be added to the ship.




And I am still looking for a name of this ship. I really do not know if Romans named their ships and if, which kind of names did they choose.

As for names ? The Romans did name their ships. The ones I've seen in some of my books are either named after gods or mythical heroes. Occasionally the odd maritime feature crops up as a name as well.

Given it's propulsion system you could choose one of the gods related to fire ? Or maybe Vulcan or similar ?

Coming along really well! 

The old Imai sailing ship kits are pretty good, I managed to make something reasonable from the Gorch Fock kit
- I hasten to add, the kit deserved better than my decidedly average rigging skills...
