Well, actually it's been freakin' ages since I posted anything on here...but I've been lurking in the shadows...:)

Here's something I've been messing about with...

Messed up the roundels a bit on that one but I was using old crappy paints that I knew I shouldn't have bothered with...I should have listened to the little voices in my head (the ones telling me not to use the paints, not the ones telling me to do terrible things to small furry animals, I try to ignore theose voices)...

The Me509. As seen in Model Airplane International not long ago

and one soon to appear...

Hope you like them and carry on the excellent work  you lot....:)

Indeed it has been a while - welcome back! Superb paintwork there, as always.

Beautiful builds! The French VEF is very unusual...

Nice all three but I like the last one.  Egyptian isn't it?

Thank you gentlemen for your kind words.
I don't get to do nearly enough whiffery anymore... :-\

And yes indeed, the Spiteful is in Syrian markings. I figured they used the Spitfire Mk.22 so why not the next one from Supermarine?
Desert schemes always look good anyway.

Right on both accounts

Great work! Could you tell us what the French warbird is? (as result and as "from where")
[the word "realistic" hurts my heart...]

Tophe

Thanks. I have read I-16 above and I said "no, this is not a Polikarpov I-16"... Shame on me. ;)

*CUTE* little Latvian/French "fighter"!
My mind is like a compost heap: both "fertile" and "rotten"!

Thanks Zeke, exporting this I-16 to my French country produced a surprising result:
