A tip from one who's built a Skycrane already.

Don't rely on the plastic hooks that Revell mould to keep the pod attached to the aircraft! They break off in no time at all, so either glue the thing in position permanently or make four new hooks from wire and use them instead.

Have you  considered magnets??   Years ago, I saw a Grand Slam  Lancaster   with detachable  ordnance.  It  was  all done with concealed magnets.

That way,  the skycrane  Rotodyne  could carry  a variety of pods and thus keep us all  entertained  as you display your expertise  in a real  Thunderbirds  style  selection of  machinery.

See I was going to do that but I have everything patched up so I think I will use a small layer of blue tack to hold it.

Kit: thanks for the heads up they kinda look flimsy the way they were built.

Thanks

Well I have decided not to do the ranger pod because it broke and the paint will not stick on it correctly, so the water tank is the only attachment it will have. I promise a pic of it tomorrow.

Thanks

That is just a spanking build. I hope you'll try the Ranger Pod again. I followed this all the way thru.

That's one of those cracking models that makes me think 'Why the devil didn't they do that in the real world?'

Superb job there, it really looks the part.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

NARSES2

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
