You may notice that the interior is a little messy, this was as a result of trying to blend the new bits with the old bits.

Nope...more "realistic".  ;D

Even more shedlike.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I don't expect you to.  I have my own plans. ;D
You must have seen Kris Kuksi's Churchtank?

Well imagine what the Shedtank would look like...

Real life has been interfering, again, but still not much progress for a lot of work.

Hinges have been a real PITA! :banghead:

Anyway the centre section in the photo's is complete (except for bolts), the end sections still need their appliqué armour.

As you can see they don't sit down correctly. I think I'm going to need to find a fix for that.

Possibly. The 4mm x 1mm may work. Have to find a way of getting some iron into the hatches. :-\

Thanks, Cap!

No photo's right now but progress is happening.

I've got all the hinges on & working but the hatches still aren't sitting down properly. However, I have an idea that involves the failed hinges I have sitting around to rectify that (little spring catches).

I, also, have the control boxes for the hydraulics fitted to the front of the trailer - with working hinged covers! - & all the armour plating is on. Just need to fit all the bolts (140-150), now.

Unfortunately for my sanity, I'm now looking at the guard-van & thinking about how I'm going to fix the hinges on the rear hatches with an eye to making them functional.

I'll try to get some photo's up soon.

Ciao for now!

Well, we have photo's of where I'm at;

Unfortunately the hinges & the latches are somewhat weak &, at this point in time, I don't know how to fix that, nor do I have the inclination.

It's past time to get this build finished.

I just have to put the cover plates in the cargo trailer & paint her up, & she'll be done ....

.... for now. Until I find the energy to come back & fix up the faults, build the cargo & the new forklift, & do the weathering.

Cheers!

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

:o  the interior is very cool and those metal hinges are gorgeous!

Thanks, guys!

Vorcha, those brass hinges are a PitA but I think it's more about knowing what you're doing (which I don't) than a problem with the products. ;)
