See this about an auction in Newcastle this coming Wednesday.

I reckon £6000 would be an underestimate, but who knows.

Hi Kit,
think a lot will depend on how good the auctioneer is, or how quickly he wants to get through the lots.
From what was screened up here on beeb local, some of the Airfix kits are resonably recent, but there
just the tip of the iceberg.

At the end of the day, it is totally dependant on how much someone is willing to pay, on the day.

Hi Kit,
quick update, according to beeb local tonight (Thursday) the collection sold for more than £9000.

Ian from Heritage has claimed over on Britmodeller he bought two thirds of the collection unseen
though if the remark was tongue in cheek i don't know.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
