Are they scabbed-on chaff or flare dispensers perhaps?

They look like intakes to me. Engine cooling ducts maybe?

Mr.Creak

Beat me to it. I was going to suggest engine bay cooling air intakes.
What if... I had a brain?

Must admit my first thought was chaff. If they are cooling ducts wouldn't they blend into the fuselage at the rear ?

Well, dear, my cooling ducts do.

I thought chaff dispensers too....but cooling ducts might be scabbed on.

Appear to be cooling ducts, the chaff and flare dispensors are immediately next to them.  This photo on Prime Portal shows them all well:

And another from a differnt set of pictures with the access panels for the chaff and flare open and showing the rear of the duct:

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.
