Asymmetrical Modern/Stealth

There are a lot of Asymmetrical designs here, yet none further than straight wings and props.

Nothing wrong with that, just trying to wrap my mind around a more modern Asym?

Ironically there is also a property of modern stealth that goes against (partially) asymmetry. One characteristic of modern stealth is being tailless, right on up to the pure flying wing shapes seen in a few of those pictures in this thread. And a subject near and dear for me- btw.

  So while the simplification of shapes and blending goes against large scale asymmetry, it can still be applied.

The B2 is not a pure flying wing, but its certainly close enough to get the job done. Also, while there is a tendency to make flying wings and lifting bodies and such symmetrical, there CAN be small amounts of asymmetry present and Tophe has taken a few of my designs and proven such. In fact a small amount of asymmetry is required to break up the RCS of a craft. There are actually small ripples and variations in the B-2 shape that do this and as long as these can be handled by modern control systems, vive la difference.

Would Asym would in a fly by computer fighter? Like pull the tech from the F-22 and F-35 or such and make a 20XX Bloom und Voss?

Sure. If your wallet was deep enough  Might even be some commercial grade versions of it available if looked for, could be less expensive. The BV 141 flew without these very well though. Correspond with Bert Rutan if you are thinking up an exotic design, he might have a whole outline on what to do if you are serious.
