Just spotted this Italeri 1/35th weapons and accessories set on ebay:

What an oddball collection! The German and American stuff is WWII, but the panel in the middle seems to be 1950s/1960s French, and the hats on the left seem to have some oddball items too.

Anyone know what they were smoking?

I remember that! There is some nicely wacky stuff in there. As I recall, the detail wasn't too bad.

Must admit the hats are a strange collection - looks like French Marine Inf (could double as British Waterloo period highland cap), British WWI or early WWII helmet, French WWII and French tankers helmet ?
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

This is a rebox of a Heller box, containing the accesories for Heller's figure kits in the epoch: 70s IIRC. Odd pieces represent frech assets from WWII to 60s.

I have one! Bought it back in the 1970s, it disappeared into my parents' attic until they moved out a decade back.
Very esoteric, and mixing the pieces can make for a whiffy display.
In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.

I like the other set with the FAL, G3, Uzi and Stirling in it.  ;) ;D

come to think of it these probably are the bits that he was after, but i will ask him again, just to make sure.

i do know he was after a milan launcher [which i do have but i need for another project] though in 1/35.

if you ever see this set again on flea-bay or such, please let me know.
